Losted
I came home from work on Friday night to find my laptop had crapped out. Turned it on and it would start to boot up and then it'd go to the "Your computer isn't going to startup" screen and countdown and try booting up again. I tried to use a boot CD but discovered that I couldn't even read the hard drive. I stayed up until 3am trying to get the damn thing to work.
Luckily I'd been able to finish all the animation for Gavv before the laptop shat itself. But there were somethings on the laptop that I'd hoped to recover, like the finished pages for the Hell Nurse Katie book. In the end I had to give up and dig out the restore discs.
I spent most of Saturday restoring to factory settings and loading all the critical apps I used on the laptop. Then I spent a good chunk of Sunday downloading all the Windows updates and Service Pack 2 because I couldn't run some apps without installing Service Pack 2. I couldn't find my Plextor disc or my Pinnacle Studio disc putting all my VHS ripping on hold for the time being. But I still had my Nero6 box on hand so I could get back to rendering DVDs for A-Kon HELL(s).
They say an important part of Comedy is timing. Same thing applies to Tragedy.
