Katie's coming to AtsuiCon with us after all. So I'm off to reserve a minivan for the weekend trip. After that it's all left to fate. I'm just hoping we get that double I requested.
I'm sure it'll be alright. There's no indication that there are any snafus waiting for us. Just the nagging reminder that this is a first year con. But I don't want to hold that against them. If we only have our usual run of HELLgremlins I'll be happy. I'm used to that after all. I shouldn't get so bent up over this stuff. In fact I should just go with the flow. Let it pass over me and enjoy the ride. But we all know I'm too uptight when it comes to this stuff. I'm sure it's bad on me, mentally and physically. No wonder I drink before the shows.
That's probably best. Have a drink at the bar and no drinks at the show. I'm less sloppy that way. Less hassles with ConSec, too.
Need to review the ACen discs and see what I can include in the show. Hell, I'm tempted to let Gavv run the show, but that'd be no fun at all. Eh, I just don't know what I'll do. I'd like to run Ninja Squad. If I can. Gremlins be damned.

I really don't know what's the deal. Last tuesday I ordered a couple of things from Buy.com and Geeks.com. I got free shipping from Buy.com and had Geeks ship via ground. Well, it's going on a week later and nothing. Fed-ex ain't even scanned the Geeks package and Buy.com hasn't even left the warehouse. WHAT THE HELL? At this rate I'll see these when? By my birthday??? Craptastic!

Spent most of the night watching TCM and encoding videos for the PSP. So it was pretty much an unproductive night. It occurred to me after I'd gone to bed that I should've worked on the AtsuiConHELL flyers. And it occurs to me now that I really don't have any ideas for the AtsuiConHELL flyers. Of course inspiration usually comes when I'm noodling around with the basic info on a blank page. But sometimes it doesn't. And I hate when that happens.
But, now it's Friday. So maybe tonight I'll get it done. Or at least get a good start. I'll give Josh a call and see what's cooking.
Gotta get moving on Rick's projects, too. Knock out some Narren buttons for him. I should be working, but I've got a headache.

Set up ePaperback on blogspot, Sleaze ePaperback. Now I just need to start scanning pages and making ebooks to post. Did a few OCRs of Expense Account Sinners last night, but didn't get too far. Need to tweak the scan setting for better recognition.
I shouldn't be spending this much time on the ebook project right now. The AtsuiConHELL is coming up and I'm way behind on getting the promo work done. It looks like we won't be able to get Katie to come along for this show, either. Due mostly to my inability to work out the logistics of a simple trip to Houston. I suck.
No HELLraffle at this show, either. I gots nothing.

I still have the OCR software in the laptop. So it looks like I can just grab an old paperback and start scanning. I've got a few ideas where to start. I'm thinking if I can get a big enough collection put together I should get a domain and setup a dedicated site for sleazy paperback ebooks.
I tried to upload THE BEAST OF ROBERT TILTON to box dot net, but they've got a restriction on file size. And the pdf isn't huge, but it's bigger then a couple of mp3s. So, I'm thinking I may have to break the file into parts. Unless I can find an online storage solution that doesn't have a problem with certain file sizes. Or maybe I can find a way to optimize the pdf. Fun.

While digging around the Gutenburg Project I remembered the old idea I had of converting my out of print paperbacks into txt files. And that's just a step away from making an ebook. So, why the heck not? I wonder if I still have that OCR software installed?

It looks like I'm finally beginning to get over the super crud. The second round of Cipro is doing it's job. I'm feeling better and my stomach is much improved. Let's hope I'm still feeling this good when I get on the plane next week.
Finalizing the details for the AtsuiCon HELLshow. I guess we're going to go on Saturday. Have to tell Katie, Bruce, Josh and Michael. I'll get my stuff together after next week's trip. That'll give me at least a week, right?
