Set up ePaperback on blogspot, Sleaze ePaperback. Now I just need to start scanning pages and making ebooks to post. Did a few OCRs of Expense Account Sinners last night, but didn't get too far. Need to tweak the scan setting for better recognition.
I shouldn't be spending this much time on the ebook project right now. The AtsuiConHELL is coming up and I'm way behind on getting the promo work done. It looks like we won't be able to get Katie to come along for this show, either. Due mostly to my inability to work out the logistics of a simple trip to Houston. I suck.
No HELLraffle at this show, either. I gots nothing.
I'm low on ideas for the flyer, too.

ebook a go go 9:42 AM
I still have the OCR software in the laptop. So it looks like I can just grab an old paperback and start scanning. I've got a few ideas where to start. I'm thinking if I can get a big enough collection put together I should get a domain and setup a dedicated site for sleazy paperback ebooks.
I tried to upload THE BEAST OF ROBERT TILTON to box dot net, but they've got a restriction on file size. And the pdf isn't huge, but it's bigger then a couple of mp3s. So, I'm thinking I may have to break the file into parts. Unless I can find an online storage solution that doesn't have a problem with certain file sizes. Or maybe I can find a way to optimize the pdf. Fun.

While digging around the Gutenburg Project I remembered the old idea I had of converting my out of print paperbacks into txt files. And that's just a step away from making an ebook. So, why the heck not? I wonder if I still have that OCR software installed?

It looks like I'm finally beginning to get over the super crud. The second round of Cipro is doing it's job. I'm feeling better and my stomach is much improved. Let's hope I'm still feeling this good when I get on the plane next week.
Finalizing the details for the AtsuiCon HELLshow. I guess we're going to go on Saturday. Have to tell Katie, Bruce, Josh and Michael. I'll get my stuff together after next week's trip. That'll give me at least a week, right?
